We hit the ground running today!

Habit 2 - Begin with the End in Mind!

Today students began the day writing a personal goal and a plan to achieve that goal. This is something we are going to do each morning as students come into class. This will give students the opportunity to think about what they can do a little bit better than the day before. Students may change their goal everyday or they may keep the same goal until they feel they have really achieved it.

At the end of each day, students will reflect on how they felt they did at working towards their goal. Look at all the intense thinking that was going on!

Proper Nouns

Today students learned all about proper nouns. A proper noun names a specific person place or thing. Students watched this video to help understand about proper nouns.

Then they went through a flipchart together to practice. Back at their seats they made proper noun pizzas!

Frankly Frightening Math - Halloween is in the air!

Students have been working on adding and subtracting. Today students made Frankensteins by choosing a number of their choice and creating numbers sentences to represent that number.  

Tomorrow is day 1 on our specials schedule. 

We have PE and Spanish!
